Dave Haining had five separate spells as manager or caretaker manager of Crawley
Former Crawley Town player and manager Dave Haining has died at the age of 68.
Haining was associated with Crawley Town for 47 years after first joining as a player in 1965. He went on to make more than 500 first team appearances for the club, scoring 80 goals, and he was part of the squad that won promotion to the Southern League.
Between 1974 and 1996 he had five separate spells as manager or caretaker manager.
He had been suffering from illness for some time.
