Skipper Pablo Mills is included in Crawley's matchday squad for the first time in more than seven months at AFC Wimbledon today.
The defender has to settle for a place on the bench though as Reds bid to stay top of League Two with a sixth consecutive win.
Mills had been tipped for a return to the starting line-up following Tom Eastman's recall by Colchester United but Kyle McFadzean drops into central defence alongside Claude Davis instead.
That means Josh Simpson comes into the starting 11 for the first time in six games following injury as he takes McFadzean's place in central midfield.
Andy Drury has recovered from a slight hamstring problem to keep his place with Simpson's return being the only change from the side which won 2-1 against Shrewsbury Town last weekend.
There is another change on the bench with Michael Doughty unwell and being replaced by Hope Akpan.
AFC Wimbledon (4-4-2): Brown; Hatton, Stuart, McNaughton, Bush; Moore, Minshull, Porter, Wellard; Midson, Jolley. Subs: Johnson, Turner, Kiernan, Mulley, Ademeno.
Crawley (4-4-2): Shearer; Hunt, Davis, McFadzean, Howell; Drury, Bulman, Simpson, Torres; Barnett, Tubbs. Subs: Mills, Kuipers, Akpan, Akinde, Neilson.
