Crawley were officially crowned Blue Square Bet premier champions at the Broadfield tonight.
Reds clinched promotion to the Football League on Saturday but skipper Pablo Mills picked up the trophy after the 1-1 draw against third-placed Luton tonight.
An all-ticket crowd of 3327 saw the home side make the perfect start with a goal after just 45 seconds.
Kyle McFadzean drove a shot goalwards after Ben Smith's corner fell to him in the box and Richard Brodie stabbed it past Mark Tyler from close range for his 11th goal of the season.
Brodie nearly got a second on seven minutes when his close-range shot came back off the underside of the bar and out to safety.
Reds dominated the first third of the contest but Luton levelled against the run of the play on 29 minutes when Alex Lawless followed up to score after Robbie Willmott's shot had been parried by keeper Scott Shearer.
The intensity levels seldom dropped in the second half although there were fewer chances.
Willmott went close with a free kick from 30 yards and Shearer made a good save late on to keep out Willmott's curling effort.
By then Reds had been reduced to ten men after defender Charlie Wassmer received two yellow cards in the space of four minutes, both for fouls on Claude Gnapke.
But that was never going to dampen the party atmosphere as Crawley launched their champagne-soaked celebrations.
