Chris Wood has targeted promotion with Albion after agreeing to extend his loan spell.
The big New Zealander looks set to stay until the end of the season after the Seagulls reached agreement with West Brom boss Roberto di Matteo.
He was initially left on the bench at Exeter yesterday but joined the action at half-time and played a big part in his side’s comeback.
Wood said: “I’m happy to stay. I’m looking to carry on my development and hopefully push for promotion.
“It’s all about getting signed and ticked off with my home club.
“The main target is promotion. I think that is definitely within our reach.”
Boss Gus Poyet could have Wood on board for the FA Cup tie with Portsmouth on Saturday.
The striker added: “They are talking about that in the next couple of days and I’d love to be involved in that.”
