Albion boss Gus Poyet has urged fans to help make the last season at Withdean a success.
The Seagulls launch their farewell campaign at the converted athletics stadium today against promoted Rochdale, before moving to The Amex at Falmer next summer.
Albion have won just 13 of their last 46 home league games and managed just seven victories last season.
Only two of the relegated teams, Stockport and Wycombe Wanderers, had a worse record, but Poyet’s improvers finished with five Withdean wins out of eight and he believes supporters can play a part in maintaining that momentum.
He said: “The fans know where we are wanting to go, so we are expecting Withdean to be as full as possible.
“Support the team, be behind them, try to make it harder for the opposition, help us when we are playing well to put pressure on them and make it difficult.
“We want them to be there and make sure we are all together. We cannot pull in different directions.”
