Gus Poyet wants Albion back to their best before he starts tinkering with the team.
The manager has not been satisfied with recent performances and he will resist the temptation to experiment too much in Saturday’s penultimate home game of the campaign against Bristol Rovers.
Albion are, to all intents and purposes, safe following last Saturday’s 1-0 win at Southend but the free-flowing form of March has deserted them during a run of four points from four matches.
Poyet said: “I think I am looking to bring the good football back first and after to give some players a game who we want to see playing for 90 minutes.”
