Gus Poyet hailed a superb second-half performance as his side moved out of the League One drop zone.
The Albion boss admitted his side were poor in the first 45 minutes of their 5-2 win at Wycombe.
But they overturned a 2-1 deficit in style as Glenn Murray completed a four-goal haul and Nicky Forster added a superb finish.
Poyet was delighted with the strike pair but admitted: "We were making a few mistakes in the first half.
"It was our problem, it was nothing to do with the opposition.
"But I think the second half was different class.
"Probably everybody remembers the Southampton game, my first one.
"I knew this team has got qualities but it was difficult to get them back.
"Today, especially in the second half, we got them."
Poyet added: "The two strikers won the game for the team.
"In the first half we were offside too many times but we corrected that in the second half."
