Striker Jamie Cook has left Crawley to re-join his home town club Oxford United.
Cook, who celebrates his 30th birthday tomorrow, has returned to the Kassam Stadium where he played for Oxford when they were in the Football League for a small undisclosed fee.
Reds' boss Steve Evans has moved quickly to strengthen his squad.
Preston pair Dominic Collins and Adam Barton have signed on a month's loan and they were joined in the squad for tonight's game against Luton by another 18-year-old in midfielder Kieran Djilali, who is on a month's loan from Crystal Palace.
Defender Collins and Djilali both lined up at Kenilworth Road as Evans made four changes to the side which drew 1-1 at home to Grays on Saturday.
Chris Carruthers, who is on a month's loan from Oxford, started in a new-look midfield which also included Lewis Killeen with Jefferson Louis operating as a lone striker.
Luton: Tyler, Keane, White, Pilkington, Newton, Nicholls, Craddock, Jarvis, Gnakpa, Gallen, Murray. Subs: Blackett, Gore, Hall, Basham, Donnelly.
Crawley: Jordan, Forrest, Broadhurst, Collins, Rents; Djilali, Pinault, Hutchinson, Carruthers, Killeen, Louis. Subs: Rayner, Malcolm, Cogan, Quinn, Barton.
