Crawley strengthened their squad ahead of today's home game against Grays Athletic when they signed defender Chris Carruthers on a month's loan from Oxford United.
The 26-year-old, whose previous clubs included Northampton and Bristol Rovers, was on the bench as Steve Evans rang the changes after last week's 4-1 home defeat by Gateshead.
Reds were without three defenders - Adam Quinn, Chris Giles and Simon Rusk - because of injury but they welcomed back Glenn Wilson who has been out since the opening day of the season because of a hamstring problem.
Wilson will slot in alongside Karl Broadhurst in central defence with Danny Forrest at rightback.
There was a change in goal where Simon Rayner, an ever present since joining the club at the start of last season, was replaced by Nick Jordan.
Thomas Pinault returned to midfield after missing two games, there was a first start of the season for Mikey Malcolm while Jefferson Louis got his first start since the opening day up front alongside Charles Ademeno.
Ex-Red Ronnie Bull was ruled out for Grays because of injury while striker Lee McEvilly was also absent having failed to recover from a shin injury.
