Nicky Forster has no intention of relinquishing his role as Albion's penalty taker.
If the Seagulls are awarded a spot-kick again at Millwall tonight then it could get quite interesting.
Will it be the club captain who steps up, his strike partner or the team skipper?
As far as Forster is concerned there is no debate, despite his rare failure from 12 yards against Stockport at Withdean last Saturday after nodding Albion ahead.
Keeper Owain Fon Williams touched his effort on to a post to prevent the Seagulls from going into a potentially pivotal 2-1 lead.
Fellow front man and goalscorer Liam Dickinson told The Argus on Monday he was definitely stepping up for the next one and that Adam Virgo is also a candidate.
Forster added to the intrigue by declaring after training yesterday: "I will put myself up for penalties. If Shearer missed a penalty did he want to give it to somebody else?
"I don't think so and I won't be any different. I want to take the penalties. My record at this club taking them isn't too bad and I would be confident to take one.
"I didn't miss the target, it was a very good save, so I won't be sitting back now."
