HOTSHOT Liam Dickinson plans to take over as Albion’s penalty king.
The Seagulls striker, pictured, wanted to step up when his side were awarded a spot kick just after half-time on Saturday.
Instead Nicky Forster, so reliable from 12 yards over the past two seasons, saw his shot touched on to a post by keeper Owain Fon Williams.
Dickinson plans to take the next penalty though he admits Adam Virgo might also fancy the job.
The former Stockport hitman said: “I tried to take it off him but once Fozzy has got something in his mind he’s not changing it.
“I’m definitely stepping up for the next one.
“I think Virgs is in the mix as well but I’m just going to run over to the ball, get it and put it down.”
Dickinson is confident his defensive team mates can put things right after leaking 11 goals in two games.
He said: “There is massive room for improvement, especially in the defence.
“We’ve got so much potential there with the likes of Tommy Elphick and James Tunnicliffe.
“They are players who can play higher than this but at the moment something’s not clicking.”
