Albion have signed Elliott Bennett from Premier League newcomers Wolves for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old right winger has agreed a three-year contract and will make his debut in Saturday's home game against Stockport.
Bennett has been high on the list of summer targets for manager Russell Slade.
The deal has taken a while to clinch, with Wolves torn between only letting Bennett out on loan or allowing him to leave for good.
The Telford-born prospect did not make a senior appearance league at Molineux but has plenty of experience from loan spells in the last two seasons with Bury and Crewe.
Bennett, who watched his new team-mates in Tuesday's 7-1 slaughter at Huddersfield before putting pen to paper, is Slade's 11th new signing.
