Crawley boss Steve Evans would love to make changes for tonight’s trip to Cambridge United even though the same team has won their last two games.
Evans is anxious to freshen things up because Thomas Pinault, Jamie Cook, who has scored in his last two games, and Lewis Killeen all played in Saturday’s eyecatching 1-0 win over Wrexham despite suffering from viruses.
Skipper Adam Quinn (calf) is close to a return although he is unlikely to be risked.
Evans said: “I have no option given our injuries to make two or possibly three changes to the starting team.
“So we will ask the boys for another big performance and they are certainly capable of that.
Martin Ling, their new manager in charge. In my opinion he will improve them so it makes our task harder.”
Ling lasted just nine days in the job after being appointed in the summer but he was re-instated last week and took charge on Saturday when United came from behind to win 4-2 at relegated Chester thanks to a hat-trick from Chris Holroyd.
