STEVE EVANS is expecting a positive response from his Crawley side at home to Forest Green Rovers tonight.
Reds slumped to a 4-0 defeat at Mansfield on Saturday and suffered another addition to a worryingly long injury list when Glenn Wilson limped off with a hamstring problem.
The defender is ruled out while Adam Quinn and Thomas Pinault are unlikely to be fit before Saturday’s home game against Wrexham and Chris Giles and Lewis Killeen will need fitness tests.
Evans said: “The boys are hurting from Saturday when we did not perform. We can all look at questionable decisions from the match at Mansfield but we need to look at ourselves first before we look at the officials.
“Injury-wise we will be missing key players but lets just focus on which players we have available for selection.
“Forest Green have got good players and it will be a tough test.
“But if we play as we can play I am confident we can get all three points but the opposition have talented players so we will need to be at our best.”
