Fabian Hurzeler will be conscious of players getting suspended before the hectic Christmas period.

Albion are heading into a crucial run of fixtures that could define the manager’s first season in charge of the club.

Igor Julio, 26, is at the highest risk of picking up a one-game ban.

The defender is currently on four bookings for the season and another would see him handed a suspension.

The Brazilian’s cautions have come in over eight Premier League appearances.

He started the season on the bench under Hurzeler but has fought his way back into the squad.

Since the 1-0 win over Newcastle, the defender has played every minute for the Albion in the league.

But with the return of captain Lewis Dunk from injury Igor will have to be at his best to keep his place in the squad.

Meanwhile Pervis Estupinan, Jan Paul van Hecke and Jack Hinshelwood all have three bookings so far this season.

This means they are two more away from being handed their own suspensions.

Albion kickstart their December fixtures with a trip to Fulham on Thursday.

This is then followed with a trip to Leicester City on Sunday.

Then comes the rival match against Crystal Palace at the Amex on December 15.

Albion then finish the Christmas period with clashes against West Ham (A), Brentford (H) and Aston Villa (A).
