Leicester are expected to have a new boss in place by the time Albion visit the King Power Stadium.
The Foxes sacked Steve Cooper yesterday and are now preparing to face Brentford on Saturday.
They then host West Ham before the Seagulls go to the East Midlands a week on Sunday.
Graham Potter, who was understood to be close taking charge of Leicester in the summer, is likely to be a strong contender.
The former Seagulls boss was on the three-man final shortlist to be Enzo Maresca’s successor.
It is believed Leicester came close to appointing him, with Potter even starting to sound out coaches to potentially form his backroom team.
He has returned to the media spotlight in recent weeks, 18 months on from being sacked by Chelsea.
Doubts which surfaced in the summer were over the chance of an England opening and the threat of a points deduction for Leicester.
He told Sky Sports recently: "I spoke to a few clubs but it wasn't the right thing.
“It was important I was patient and waited for the right opportunity and took the time with the family to reflect and think about what I wanted to do.
“Now I'm in that good place where I'm happy to be ready and looking forward to the next challenge.”
Potter’s final game in charge of the Seagulls was a 5-2 thrashing of Leicester at the Amex.
Cooper was sacked with the Foxes still outside the relegation zone, helped by a strong start to the season by Facundo Buonanotte on loan from the Seagulls.
He missed Saturday’s defeat by Chelsea after receiving five yellow cards.
