Andrew Crofts will tell his Albion coaching colleagues to expect intensity on their first trip to Bournemouth.
The former skipper enjoys giving Fabian Hurzeler, Jonas Scheuermann and company some insight into what to expect in their first season in the Premier League.
And he will make sure they are fully informed before what he sees as a “really exciting” tussle with the Cherries (3pm).
First-team coach Crofts, who has enjoyed a successful international window with Wales, said: “I think you can share a lot of that experience of going to different stadia, different teams, different ways of playing.
“We found that out last year at Bournemouth with the intensity they play at.
“We know the stadiums well.
“Obviously Fabian and the other staff don’t, we do, so we can share that and make him aware of what it is going to feel like.
“The lads know because they have been there.
“It is such an exciting game. They play with real intensity.
“They have obviously had a really good start to the season, just like we have.
“I think it will be a really exciting game.”
Crofts assisted Craig Bellamy as they guided Wales to top spot in their UEFA Nations League group.
He said: “Tuesday night was incredible, a big night for a special group of players and obviously for Craig in his first managerial stint.
“Topping the league was a special, special night and something to really build on.
“Everyone knows how much this club means to me. I feel like I’m representing Brighton every time I go away as well with Wales.”
