Sweden boss Jon Dahl Tomasson has played down injury concerns over Yasin Ayari.
The Albion midfielder limped out of his national team’s 6-0 win over Azerbaijan early in the second half.
Ayari was again starting for an increasingly exciting Swedish outfit.
He recently suffered an injury playing for his club at Liverpool and Tomasson suggested his latest early exit was related to that.
Albion will be keen to check on him before they prepare to face Bournemouth on Saturday.
Ayari was involved in a duel with Ceyhun Nuriyev and immediately grimaced and grabbed his foot.
After receiving treatment on the field, he was helped off and replaced by Emil Holm.
At his press conference afterwards, Tomasson said: “He didn't want to take any risks.
“He twisted his ankle a bit, which he also did a few weeks ago.
“So I don't think it's that dangerous.”
Ayari has been one of the successes of the season so far for club and country.
Former Albion striker Viktor Gyokeres again dominated the headlines with four goals.
Current Seagulls forward Julio Enciso went on as sub and scored a stoppage-time equaliser as Paraguay drew 2-2 away to Bolivia at altitude in El Alto in their World Cup qualifier
