Danny Welbeck says his chief goal-provider has “positive energy and great ability”.
Now he hopes to help Georginio Rutter make even more progress as he settles into the Premier League.
Rutter has been directly involved in three Welbeck strikes and appears to already have a great understanding with the England striker.
Now Welbeck has revealed the qualities which have helped him strike up a rapport with the former Leeds man.
He told The Argus: “First and foremost, Georginio is a great guy.
“He’s so infectious and he’s got a lot of positive energy and that rubs off on to everybody who’s around him.
“It’s evident to see the qualities that he possesses when he’s got the ball at his feet.
“He’s always willing to put in the hard work for the team and not just for himself.
“And he has given me a few assists as well!
“He possesses some great ability and he’s really clever and he’s been playing what might look like simple passes but it’s the care and attention that he puts into that pass which makes the goal.”
Albion appear to have attacking options with Joao Pedro back in action and Evan Ferguson and Yankuba Minteh picking up valuable minutes on international duty.
Welbeck is happy to help them all – including Rutter.
Asked specifically about the France under-21 international, he said: “I’m always speaking to Georgie on the pitch, off the pitch as well.
“I’m always willing to offer him my advice.
“I’ve been through a lot of experiences and I’ve got a lot of advice to give him.”
