Jack Grealish has been ruled out of a trip to the Amex - despite his England call.

Pep Guardiola did not appear happy with his player’s inclusion in the Three Lions squad as he faced reporters today.

The Manchester City boss did not appear in the mood to speak about anything at great length.

But he said he would pick from the same pool of players as he had available for the midweek trip to Sporting of Lisbon in the Champions League.

Asked about Grealish, he replied: "That is the question for the manager from the UK."

City have lost their last three games but Guardiola highlighted they were all in different competitions and he appeared generally happy with how they have been playing.

He said: "Twenty minutes against Fulham were not good, against Bournemouth we were not good, but the rest of the games we were good. We are good. We will see what happens.

“Of course, we are not used to losing three games in three different competitions but it is football and it has happened.

"We know the reason why we struggle but we are looking forward to this game and after the international break, and after that a few players will be back and recovered.

“All the little problems we have with players will be solved. I hope."

Guardiola also offered his customary nice words about Albion.

He said: "I’m really impressed with the way they play.

“I think Roberto De Zerbi did an incredible job there.

“Brighton made a lot of signings and he (Fabian Huerzeler) is doing an incredible job – personality, rhythm.

"The way they played the last two games against Liverpool was outstanding.

“Results weren’t good but they played really good.

"They always have been tough away or at home, since Graham Potter, and this will be no exception."
