Tickets for the Women’s Rugby World Cup have gone on sale as Brighton looks forward to hosting the Red Roses at the Amex.
England will play their group game against Australia at the Amex and the stadium will also host New Zealand and Ireland in next year’s competition.
A ballot has now opened after more than 130,000 tickets have already been sold.
Brighton and Hove City Council leader Bella Sankey said: “With such a great line-up, tickets for the Brighton and Hove games look set to fly. We look forward to welcoming teams and fans – and showcasing our great city to a worldwide audience.”
Brighton and Hove Albion chief operating officer Paul Mullen said: “Hosting these matches is a huge honour for the club, the stadium and the city.
"Just as we saw with the football at the Euros here in 2022, the city of Brighton and Hove has a great passion for these sporting events and people will come out to support all the teams, not least the home nation England.”
The ballot for tickets opens today and closes on November 19. Applicants will then be notified if they have been successful at the beginning of December.
England play Australia on September 6, 2025, while New Zealand play Ireland on September 7.
