Chris Agutter says all the ingredients are in place for a famous FA Cup date at Worthing.

The Vanarama National League south outfit take on League Two strugglers Morecambe in the first round today (3pm).

Rebels moved into a play-off place with a midweek win at Bath and are relishing the cup occasion.

Ahead of the tie at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium, boss Agutter said: “We go into the game with nothing to lose.

“All the pressure is on them.

“I try and put myself in their shoes.

“They are obviously travelling a long way, playing on 3G, playing against a team in form and they aren’t in the best space.

“If you think of all the ingredients you would want as a manager, they are all there.

“We have got everything to gain and nothing to lose.”

Worthing strike Mo Fall serves a ban after his red card against Slough last week.

But Agutter said: “We have got a few options.

“We have scored a lot of goals this year and they haven’t all come from Mo.”

Asked whether this is his biggest match as a manager, Agutter said: “I haven’t really thought about it like that.

“I looked at the Bath game and at this week and that was the priority.

“Then as soon as the Bath game was out of the way it was, ‘Right, Morecambe’.

“The big thing for us was to make sure we finished this week in the play-off positions and local to the top, which we have done.

“If we can back that up with a win against Morecambe, that’s great.”
