Do not be mis-led by the key stats for the man who will referee Albion at Anfield.
Cleveland-based Tony Harrington has shown 29 yellow cards and one red in six matches this season.
But those figures are distorted by the one game he has done outside the Premier League.
Harrington showed 11 yellows and a red in a fiery East Lancs derby between Burnley and Blackburn.
That puts his yellow card tally in the Prem at a modest 18 in five fixtures.
His most recent Albion middle was also against Merseyside opposition, when he refereed the 1-1 draw at home to Everton last season.
Lewis Dunk scored a late equaliser after Harrington had sent off Billy Gilmour.
He was at Anfield earlier this season as Liverpool beat Bournemouth 3-0.
Chris Kavanagh has VAR duties, a role he carried out, perhaps most notably of late, at Manchester City’s recent last-gasp win over Wolves.
The full officiating team for Liverpool v Albion is as follows.
Referee: Tony Harrington. Assistants: Scott Ledger, Adrian Holmes. Fourth official: Bobby Madley. VAR: Chris Kavanagh. Assistant VAR: Wade Smith.
