Mats Wieffer is expected to start for Albion tonight – against his old boss.
And Fabian Huerzeler says it could be exactly what he needs.
The former Feyenoord midfielder gave possession away before his side conceded a late equaliser to Wolves on Saturday.
He was also involved in Albion’s second goal and is expected to be in the XI to take on Arne Slot’s Liverpool.
Mats Wieffer is not surprised to see Slot doing well at Liverpool. But what about the midfielder himself and bouncing back from that error? "He is a top guy, always speaking his mind, and sometimes he can be so hard on himself,” I was told. #bhafc https://t.co/v11tDVOxmy

Albion head coach Huerzeler said: “I see him every day in training.
“He works hard but every player needs to adapt and some do that quicker than others.
“Say, like Georginio (Rutter) played in England before, he has played more but he is used to the intensity of the game.
“You have to be prepared for that and Mats is getting close.
“Of course, everyone is talking about that mistake but I focus on his performances and I think against Newcastle he had a good impact on the game.
“He will be an important player for us.
“We need to give him the time he needs and it’s important he gets the game time to get the trust and belief in himself back.
“Maybe the game is exactly what he needs. We will see how he plays and how he reacts.”
Albion will make a late call on fellow midfielder Jack Hinshelwood and winger Yankuba Minteh as they chase a first fifth-round appearance since 1978-79.
