Albion continue to look at safe standing at the Amex – as work progresses on the new Fan Zone.
Supporters have seen the facility start to emerge as they arrive for home games this season.
Plans include a two-storey event area serving food and drink, as well as more space for shops, toilets and storage.
It will be used for events on non-matchdays as well as before and after games.
Albion chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber said: “You will notice progress is being made on the new Fan Zone with the steelworks now largely in place.
“We have a commitment to extend our facilities for fans, improve the matchday experience and, where we can, add to our stadium capacity.
“Therefore we are looking at extending facilities at the north end of the stadium, while work is ongoing to look at safe standing and the movement of away fans.”
