Yasin Ayari said there can be no easing off in the Premier League after Albion wasted the rare luxury of a two-goal lead.
The Seagulls had not been two goals clear in the Prem since their 3-0 success at Everton on the opening day.
But they were unable to turn it into a third successive victory.
Midfielder Ayari said: “It is disappointing for us, I would say.
“We deserved to win this game, but this is the Premier League.
“You need to stay awake until the game ends.
“We had our chance to close the game at 3-1 and they win the ball and score the 2-2.
“That is how it is and now we need to learn from this, because it was a tough one, and bounce back in the next one.
“It is always good to go 2-0 up.
“At 1-0 up it is still a little bit shaky. Even then it is the Premier League.
“You cannot ease off anything or be comfortable even at 2-0.
“You need to work hard until the game ends.”
Wolves boss Gary O’Neil said: “My main thing around today is how deep they’ve had to dig to achieve something here today.
“Not just because we’re 2-0 down, but we’re 2-0 down and we’ve not won a game yet and they’ve still managed to find a way.
“We’ll definitely be fine this season and that only reaffirms my thoughts.
“It’s only what we deserved from the game. The second-half performance, we were the dominant side.
“It ended up a little bit crazy at the end but I’m delighted for the boys. To still be able to keep fighting speaks a lot.”
