Albion can go top of the WSL table - backed by their record crowd.
The club today announced they had broken new ground in terms of ticket sales ahead of their date at the Amex versus Manchester United tomorrow (12.30pm).
While no number has been specified, the previous best was close to 7,000 for a defeat by Tottenham early last season.
A win would take the Seagulls provisionally top of the table pending Sunday’s fixtures, which include Manchester City v Aston Villa and Chelsea at home to Tottenham.
Albion boss Dario Vidosic said: “Ticket sales are going good and we encourage everyone to come out and help at us.
“We have an opportunity – if we win, we will go top of the WSL which is another carrot there for us.
“But we know we have got a tough opponent.
“I think it will be a really good game. I can’t wait personally.”
