Albion face a possible Monday night date with Crystal Palace – and will NOT be playing on Boxing Day this year.
The Premier League have announced numerous fixture changes for December and January.
But the date for Palace’s visit is not yet set in stone.
Albion’s home fixture with Brentford will take place on Friday, December 27 (7.30pm) rather than Boxing Day and be shown live on Amazon Prime Video.
Although Boxing Day football is traditionally popular, it can pose logistical problems at the Amex, which is heavily reliant on public transport.
The changes begin with the trip to Fulham, which has been switched to Thursday, December 5 (7.30pm), also on Amazon Prime Video.
That pushes the match at Leicester City back to Sunday, December 8 (2pm).
Crystal Palace head to the Amex on Monday, December 16 (8pm, Sky Sports), although that will be brought forward a day (2pm) should either club reach the Carabao Cup fifth round.
For that to happen, Albion would need to beat Liverpool in the fourth round or Palace win at Aston Villa.
Albion’s league game at Villa Park will be played on Monday, December 30 (7.45pm).
The changes continue into 2025 with the home date against Arsenal on Saturday, January 4 now a 5.30pm kick-off and live on Sky Sports.
The game at Ipswich Town has been confirmed for Thursday, January 16 (7.30pm, TNT Sports), which means the subsequent trip to Old Trafford is nudged back a day to Sunday, January 19 (2pm).
Albion’s matches at West Ham on Saturday, December 21 and at home to Everton on Saturday, January 25 remain unaltered.
