Carlos Baleba is expected to play for Cameroon when they take on Kenya on Monday.
The Albion midfielder went off during a 4-1 win over the same opponents on Friday.
He was said by his head coach to be “lightly injured” and left the action in a pre-planned change.
Baleba was in good spirits when he arrived in Kampala, Uganda, where the return game is being played.
The Argus have been told he trained well during the 15 minutes which were open to the media.
African football reporter Abel Kitaka, who attended the training session, said: “I am sure he will play tomorrow.”
