Marisa Olislagers could be Albion’s left-back solution.

The Holland international is expected to take over from Poppy Pattinson as they visit Crystal Palace in the WSL today.

Pattison is suspended after her dismissal for two yellow-card offences in the 4-2 win over Aston Villa.

Olislagers has so far played in a defensive midfield role.

But head coach Dario Vidosic suggested she could be the player to take the left-back role at Palace.

That would open up a midfield vacancy with Jelena Cankovic a strong contender to take over.

Pattinson is arguably stronger going forward than defensively and Vidosic has found a way to harness her qualities.

She has provided assists for goals by Kiko Seike and Nikita Parris in the opening three league games.
