Albion have expressed support to Sam Baldock after his brother George died in Greece.
George, a Greece international, was found dead in the swimming pool of his house in Glyfada, southern Athens. He was 31.
Reuters reported police attempted to resuscitate him at the scene but he could not be revived.
He signed for Panathinaikos this summer after a seven-year spell at Sheffield United.
Sam rejoined Albion recently, in a role looking after the club’s players who are out on loan.
He played for the Seagulls during the seasons in which they chased and eventually secured promotion to the Premier League.
We are shocked to learn of the passing of George Baldock at the age of 31.
