Albion star Georginio Rutter has left the France under-21 squad.
The French FA today announced he would not be part of their games to face Cyprus and Austria due to injury.
Rutter helped Albion beat Tottenham 3-2 on Sunday and has shone in the absence of Joao Pedro.
Albion head coach Fabian Huerzeler is not due to talk to the media until next week ahead of the trip to Newcastle.
