Worthing are set to take the next step towards a capacity of more than 4,000 at their home in Woodside Road.
Half of the new covered North Stand terrace will be open when they host Maidstone at the Sussex Transport Community Stadium tomorrow and Welling on Tuesday.
Should all go well, it is expected the complete stand, which runs most of the length of the pitch, will be in use for the visit of Tonbridge Angels on Saturday, October 19.
The ground capacity will be set at 2,950 for the next two games and then grow to more than 4,000.
Fans can no longer stand in the walkway in front of the main South Stand, which has been a popular spot for many over the years, particularly in bad weather.
Maidstone United fans have been allocated the North East corner terrace tomorrow.
Chief operating officer Keith Mitchell said: “Getting the stand built is one challenge, but ensuring it is operationally sound, safe and compliant is vital and we are working with the authorities to navigate us through this mobilisation period.
“We thank supporters for their continued patience.
“For those supporters using the new North Stand, we know they are going to enjoy a great new view and upgraded fan experience”.
Rebels, beaten just once this season, will look to make up ground on the play-off places after draws in their last two Vanarama National League south games.
