Albion will check on Joao Pedro after training today as he aims to be fit to face Nottingham Forest.

The Brazil forward missed the 0-0 draw with Ipswich due to an injury suffered on international duty.

He is now aiming to play on Sunday against Forest in the battle of two unbeaten sides.

At his press conference this morning, Albion boss Fabian Huerzeler said: “He will train today with the team, then we have to see how it’s going.

“If he can train fully, if he can do all the movements.

“Of course we won’t take any risk but he will be part of the training today.”

Brajan Gruda is expected to join the squad for training next week.

Both Gruda and James Milner are still in rehab after injuries.
