Albion recorded a moment of club history when Fabian Huerzeler looked to his bench against Ipswich.
The head coach made a triple substitution midway through the second half, taking off Jack Hinshelwood, Georginio Rutter and Yankuba Minteh to be replaced by Ferdi Kadioglu, Julio Enciso and Simon Adingra.
The withdrawals of Hinshelwood and Rutter meant it was the first time Albion had ever had 11 full internationals on the pitch at the same time.
They have had ten on the park at various junctures in the recent past.
The full house was made possible after ever-present Jan Paul van Hecke made his debut for the Netherlands in midweek.
Albion’s team from the 68th minute had three Holland internationals (Bart Verbruggen, van Hecke, Joel Veltman), two England (Lewis Dunk and Danny Welbeck), and one each from Turkey (Kadioglu), Cameroon (Carlos Baleba), Sweden (Yasin Ayari), Japan (Kaoru Mitoma), Ivory Coast (Adingra) and Paraguay (Enciso).
The Republic of Ireland’s Evan Ferguson replaced Welbeck near the end.
Hinshelwood and Rutter have played under-21 internationals for France and England respectively.
The latter made his debut this week and there would appear a good chance he can go on to senior honours.
