Albion have congratulated their two new under-21 internationals.
James Beadle and Jack Hinshelwood both made debuts in the 4-1 friendly win over Austria at Kenilworth Road.
Ian Buckman, Albion’s academy manager, told The Argus: “I spoke to them both on Monday night and there were a few messages flying around.
“They were both really pleased. It’s great for them both to get 90 minutes.
“It was a really proud night for them and their families.”
Hinshelwood came through the youth ranks as a midfielder but has adapted to play at full-back in the Premier League.
Buckman said: “He is getting comfortable there!
“He is such a good footballer, he is so versatile, he can do a number of roles.”
