Albion goalkeeper Katie Startup has joined Manchester City for an undisclosed fee.
She had a stint with City on an emergency loan deal last season.
Startup joined the Seagulls from Championship side Charlton Athletic in July 2020 and made six appearances for the club.
Albion head coach Dario Vidosic said: “Katie has been a fundamental player for the club from when she first joined.
“She has contributed massively on and off the training pitch to help the team reach their best potential.
“I’m sad we never got to work longer together but we wish her all the best for the future.”
Albion have been in Spain for pre-season training as they build towards their WSL opener at home to Everton on September 21.
