Albion have confirmed the signing of Fernebache full-back Ferdi Kadioglu.
The club announced that Ferdi had signed a four-year contract to join the club for an undisclosed fee believed to be worth £25 million.
Ferdi was presented to fans at the Amex ahead of the Carabao Cup tie with Crawley.
Fabian Huerzeler said shortly before the Carabao Cup tie: “I'm very excited because we are getting an excellent player and a great character. He has great ability, is a strong runner and very good at passing.
“He is predominantly a full-back and can play on the right or left side; he can also play in the centre of midfield.
“He is someone who is very keen to learn and develop, and with that in mind I’m confident he will adjust to the Premier League and adapt quickly to English football.”
The Turkey internationals was one of the standouts for his team in Euro 2024.
He was born in the Netherlands and played 70 times in the Eridivisie before moving to Fernebache in 2018.
