Kamari Doyle is the latest Albion youngster to head out on loan – but he will not be the last.

The 19-year-old midfielder is heading to Exeter City for the season.

He joined the Seagulls from Southampton last January and scored one goal for the under-21s in Premier League 2.

Albion under-21s head coach Shannon Ruth said: "Kamari did well for the under-21s after joining us at the start of the year and this is a great opportunity for him at an established League One club.

“We wish him well and will be monitoring his progress at Exeter."

Fabian Huerzeler has made no secret of the fact there will be plenty of loan business done in the next fortnight.

He said: "Yes, I expect that. The squad is big, but we need this in pre-season because we had a lot of injuries and we had a lot of games.

"We had a trip to Japan, so we needed a big squad and that's why it was very helpful.

"I'm also very thankful for the players who come back from loan, for the young players from the academy, because they made a great picture, a great impression, that's always very, very good for the reputation of the club."
