“I know quite a few of the fans who support home and away and it is really nice to reconnect with those people.”
Seymour trained with Rebels last season while troubled by a knee injury and impressed this summer on trial.
He said: “I want to get back to enjoying football as much as I can.
“I think I am at the perfect club to do that with the right group, the right management - and the support from off the pitch is fantastic.”
Smith 19, worked with Rebels boss Chris Agutter when he was coach at Stevenage’s academy.
Agutter, who side open their season at Weston-Super-Mare tomorrow, said: “Harrison is an all-action, big and powerful centre forward who will not only add goals but will also help bring others into play.”
