Fabian Huerzeler expects to see more of his international players in training in the coming week.

Billy Gilmour was again absent from the squad as Albion won 1-0 at QPR.

That was because of an unspecified injury and Huerzeler said he expects to see the Scotland midfielder, who is of interest to Napoli, back in training in the next week.

Bart Verbruggen was with the squad at Loftus Road but did not feature in the matchday squad.

Lewis Dunk returns to work in the next few days after his post-Euros holiday.

Huerzeler said: “I am looking forward to seeing him back.

“He is my captain, he is one of my leaders.”

Valentin Barco did not play today as a precautionary measure due to a minor injury.
