Mats Wieffer was in the thick of it at Albion training this week - with Joao Pedro also involved.
Video and photos released by the club show Wieffer getting fully involved in a squad session as they returned to work this week.
The summer signing from Feyenoord did not feature in either friendly in Tokyo.
He sat out the final session in Japan on Saturday ahead of the game with Tokyo Verdy as he continued his rehab after a thigh injury.
But he appeared to be fully involved in passing and tackling this week in the build-up to a fixture at QPR.
Joao Pedro missed the Japan trip and was shown involved in warm-up drills as the squad started work again at Lancing.
The sessions also involved Mahmoud Dahoud, who is back from loan but did not go to Japan, as well as Carlos Baleba, who was unavailable for the Tokyo Verdy game.
Jack Hinshelwood and Carl Rushworth did not play in the Tokyo fixtures but appeared to be playing a full part in this week’s sessions.
