They join newcomers Petersfield on six points although the Hampshire side have the better goal difference.
Fin Agnihotri scored his first goal for Peacehaven with a low drive from outside the box to secure a 1-0 success at Roffey.
Hassocks came from behind to win 2-1 at home to Bexhill.
Jack Troak, whose superb right-foot curler gave them their opening-day win over Saltdean, drilled home left-footed before Ruari Farrell headed the winner from a corner.
