Albion are training in early evening in central Tokyo as they prepare for the first game of their Japan trip.

The temperature remained well into the 30s and humidity high today, even though the sky had clouded over this afternoon.

Tokyo is eight hours ahead of the UK and the squad are working later in the day to avoid the worst of the heat.

They take on J-League high-flyers Kashima Antlers at the National Stadium on Wednesday.

The expectation will be for Fabian Huerzeler to share minutes around his squad while some rotation is also expected from the Antlers.

They have won three of their last four games in league and cup and are third in the J-League, five points off the top.

As of last week, Albion were expecting a crowd of about 15,000-20,000.
