Goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott has left Hibernian to sign for Crawley.

The 27-year-old former Swindon and Charlton player made eight appearances after joining Hibs last summer.

He links up with his former Swindon boss Scott Lindsey and has agreed a two-year deal.

Reds lost last term's No.1 Corey Addai to Stockport County this summer.

Wollacott said: "I am delighted to get the deal over the line. It was a quick turnaround, so I am very happy it was done quickly.

"Unfortunately, last season did not work out for me, so I was looking for a solution.

"I know Scott well from my time at Swindon, and I really enjoyed working with him, so this seemed like a great fit.

"He gave a lot of information on how he wants the team to play, but also on how he wants me to play, so hopefully we can continue to work well together,

Hibs sporting director Malky Mackay said: “Unfortunately, we couldn’t guarantee Jojo as much game time as he would like.

"We agreed it was best for him to continue his career down south, in a league that he knows well.”
