Albion are weighing up whether to send new boy Malick Yalcouye out on loan.

Fabian Huerzeler and his staff will make a decision over pre-season.

They will judge whether they see it best to work with the midfielder on a daily basis at Lancing or give him game time elsewhere.

It is understood the Seagulls are in no great rush to make a decision as they prepare for a pre-season which includes trips to Japan and QPR before hosting Villarreal.

Yalcouye, who turns 19 in November, remains very inexperienced in European football having made dramatic progress with Gothenburg after arriving from Ivory Coast earlier this year.

Albion paid the Swedish club £6 million for his services.

The Seagulls are also interested in a move for Diego Gomez of Inter Miami, who scored in a 3-1 win over Toronto this week and then told reporters his agent had been talking to both hi current club and the Seagulls.

The Argus was told earlier his week that further signings are possible but nothing imminent.
