Albion are looking forward to at least one more season with Pascal Gross - despite interest from Germany.

The midfielder has been linked with Borussia Dortmund as he goes into the final year of his current contract.

It is understood the Seagulls have so far rejected one offer from an unspecified club which fell well short of their valuation.

Gross is seen as an important presence within the group for the coming season as his compatriot Fabian Huerzeler settles in as head coach.

The club have also brought in leading sports doctor Florian Pfab, who was with Gross at Ingolstadt.

Both Gross and Deniz Undav have attracted interest within the Bundesliga but Albion's position remains that they are not expected to leave.

They are not currently in any negotiations regarding Undav with Stuttgart, who had the striker on loan last season but seem unsure as to whether they want to push for a more permanent deal.

Albion continue to look forward to seeing both Gross and Undav return from their post-Euros break after they were part of the Germany squad which reached the last eight.

A new contract for Gross has been spoken about with the player and is seen as an option.
