Former Albion prospect Alex Cochrane is heading back to England.

The 24-year-old left-back is set to complete a move from Hearts to Birmingham City.

Cochrane played more than 100 games for the Edinburgh club and was popular among their fans.

His fee is reported to be about £1 million.

Cochrane was a prominent player for Albion under-23s but made just one senior start, when Graham Potter fielded a youthful side against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup.
