Albion duo Lewis Dunk and Bart Verbruggen went through extreme emotions in Dortmund.

Dunk was an unused sub as England beat Holland 2-1 in the Euro 2024 semi-finals.

But the result was heart-breaking for Bart Verbruggen, who enjoyed a fine tournament in goal for the Dutch.

Ollie Watkins struck at the death to send England to their second successive European Championship final as Gareth Southgate’s side again dug deep.

Harry Kane’s spot-kick cancelled out a superb Xavi Simons opener before Watkins stepped off the bench and wrote his name into the history books by sealing a 2-1 triumph in the 90th minute.

Verbruggen looked inconsolable at the end while Dunk celebrated with Watkins, whose razor sharp finish flashed across the Dutch keeper to secure the result.
