Albion have confirmed three new additions to Fabian Huerzeler’s coaching staff, subject to successful work permit applications.

Jonas Scheuermann is on board as assistant head coach, Marco Knoop as goalkeeping coach and Max Lesser as tactical analyst.

Scheuermann, 38, arrives from Augsburg, where he became assistant manager in 2017.

He visited England with Huerzeler when the now Seagulls boss visited several clubs last winter.

Knoop, 45, arrives from St Pauli, where he was a very popular character.

He has had senior coaching roles at Fenerbahce and Nordsjaelland.

Lesser, 29, was most recently with Ajax as chief analyst, previously he held a similar role with Stuttgart.

He was head of match analysis with the Amsterdam giants from July to September last year.

The new men will work alongside first-team coach Andrew Crofts and first-team goalkeeping coach Jack Stern.
